Javian's Birth Story

Finally.... time for didi Neo's birth story! =D

9th of June at about 2.30am, tummy kept feeling uncomfortable.

i was awake all the way till 5am plus~

and toilet visits for "big business" for 4 times!

went back to sleep after that and was awake by dad due to some stupid news at 7am.

That's when i felt that familiar contractions

every 5 minutes interval.

(the same ones as what i felt when i have Charlene after my water bag burst)

anyway, the contractions is still very bearable.

prepared Phoebe for school and just nice hus came home from duty.

Slowly get my stuffs prepared, pack my bags, hospital bag and took a long long bath!

done with preparation at around 9 plus.

hus drove to the hospital next...

was thinking should i go for my consultation first with my gynae, Dr Irene Chua

since i've an appointment with her too

but hus suggest to head to the delivery suite straight and wait for her.

like a relax ah~

Was admit to the delivery ward at about 10 plus...

Shortly after Dr Irene Chua came. Checked and was 2-3cm dilated.

she burst my water bag and put me on drip right after doing VE.

Intense pain came instantly..

requested for epidural hehehe.

Super relief after epidural was injected by the anesthetic doctor.

Dr Chua said i'll probably deliver after lunch time.

told hus to head down to have his breakfast first while i get some rest.

At around 11 plus, the epidural didn't seems to works on me.

I guess it's because i'm already fully dilated.

felt the super "contispation, pushing, want to pass motion" feel.

called hus straight and pressed the nurse

button till i SHOUT for them.

Checked and yes, i'm right! Fully dilated already!

nurse off the epi dose and called for my gynae to come.

Hus was shock why so fast because he didn't manage to finish his bowl of noodles. HAHA! and shortly after Dr Irene Chua came and was surprise that i've dilated so fast too~

Super super disgusting "want-to-pass-motion" feeling.

I feel it's the worst labor compare to my previous 2 labors.

Can totally feel the pain!

PUSH, PUSH, PUSH....................

took less than 10 minutes of pushing and didi's out! =D

Dr Irene Chua passed hus the scissors and he cut didi's umbilical cord =)

Weighing: 3.268kg

Length: 48cm

first LOUD cry!

Dr Chua commented that Javian looks very rosy pink!

Dr Irene Chua did not did an episiotomy for me for this birth.
just had a slight tear~

finally experience the "sewing" down below when Dr Chua was stitching for me.

the epidural numb in me seems to went off pretty fast!

this time round, i can feel my meat been pulled while my gynae stitching up for me omg

(i hope i don't gross anyone out)

sewing in, out, in, out~ very very very yucky!!!

Rested till 2 plus in delivery suite and was finally
wheel-chair up to my ward with hus.

During the noon till night, families and a few close friends came to visit! =)

Next day, Dr Irene Chua came early in the morning to
follow-up and was told that i could only be discharge at 5pm.

spot the super relax pig..................

hus was sleeping soundly till 11 while i woke up at 8 plus lonely me~

Side track abit, i have this thing for hospital food....

vvv yummy!

weird but i'm a lover of hospital food and also airplane food!

HEHEHEHAHAHA

prepared Javian's discharge clothes

Wee kwan came about 12 noon... superman never sleep, work night shift,

straight come down after doing his stuffs.

but he fell asleep after lying on the sofa bed HAHA! (spot him)

Getting ready for discharge.... hus changed for didi.

Super bth hus! while changing for Javian, he kept praising himself that

he is still so pro with newborns -.-
