2 years old progress, almost done with everything she needs to learn =)
all is in this post!
From 13th month - 14th month:
- Knows how to walk but only prefer us holding her hand and walk together.
- when i point her and say her, she will point back like complain together -.-"
- knows how to do 怕怕(she is scare) sign.
- knows which control in my house is for what purposes.
- she also knows that money = is for buying things = can go out (her favourite). so whenever she takes money, she won't return it to you.
- loves massage.. (knows how to enjoy hor. haha!)
- sometimes when she's being scolded, will do that 伤脑筋(headache) sign.
- number 1 tam jia baby.
- doesn't likes to sleep..
- whenever i take the towel, she knows that it is bathing time so will try to remove her shirt by herself. haha!
- when angry of her, she will make you smile by doing lots of funny stunts.
(mumbling-like-singing, shake her butt, gives you a cheeky laugh) - Whenever meimei cry Phoebe will go over to meimei's and find meimei's pacifier put in meimei's mouth.
- if we happen to be not around meimei and meimei cry, Phoebe will go to our rooms to look for us like let us know meimei is crying. haha!
- when she don't know how to open the particular thing, will auto pass to me accompany with some whining sound. (wants me me to open it up for her)
- take tissue paper/handkechief wipe here and there like cleaning up. will use tissue paper to wipe her sweat sometimes.. very funny!
- when i'm asleep, will come and disturb me.. poke my nose, play with my ear.
14th month - 15th month:
- Able to walk independently =D
(started on 11 April 2009) - can do a small run too
- knows how to throw rubbish into the dustbin by herself without us telling her to do so.
(from living room to kitchen) - loves the playground as much as she loves to eat.
- loathe sleeping!
- knows how to say in hokkien: "ai jiak" (meaning "want to eat" in english)
- some random words too.. hi, ball ball, 谢谢，打打, mum mum, 爸爸，妈妈，怕怕。
- tends to be clumsy when sleepy
- will smile and talk to herself. haha!
- behaves really well when comes to eating or drinking.
- likes to hide in my wardrobe
- loves to play peek-a-boo
- always run out naked to the living room after bathing!
- when she's hungry, will go walking around, patting her tummy and say, "mum mum" non-stop.
- very active, will never stop moving around!
- always climb out and down tables/chairs -.-
- knows how to get down from (eg. sofa, table, chair, bed) on her own..
- very "hiao"!
- will take handbags and act as if she's going out ~
- act shy in front of strangers
- likes to swing her hands from front to back and round and round.
- she will gives a kiss when we ask her to.
- always laugh and do the "breath in very hard" sound.
- dance along when see people dance on tv.
15th month - 16th month:
- She loves doing cheeky laugh!
- drinks from a cup.
- dislike sleeping -.- if put her to sleep, like torture her like that.
- when give her something, she will say 谢谢。
- likes scribbling
- when scribble on paper, she will have a standard position (lying on stomach)
- learning to use spoon to eat on her own..
- her actions of "no, don't want" is shake her body, not her head.
- knows how to "kay siao!"
- more and more cheeky and tam jiak.
- sometimes follow the things we do.
- will act as if she's sneezing (i always do that, but is real. LOL)
- likes to purposely bang on things around the house! -.-"
- knows how to keep her toys after playing when told to do so.
- pro in coming down from her sarong on her own (started when she's 9th months)
- knows how to "hor hor" at people. haha!
16th month - 17th month:
- Always use a tissue paper and imitate how i sneeze with a tissue paper -.-
- more and more hiao as she grows older.. haha!
- new words she learnt: bus, 姐姐
- likes to lie down on the floor is her weird habit.
- sometimes when we ask her questions she will trick us by nodding and shaking her head together.
- always goes to meimei and want to carry her on her own.
- when meimei play saliva, Phoebe will use tissue paper and clean for meimei =)
- whoever who bullies her, she will point at the person and "complain" out loud !
- likes to watch TV.
- knows how to kill ants. LOL.
17th months - 18th months:
- Run here, run there.
- spicy food lover!!
- likes to climb up high places..
- little miss busy, always mess up the house, busy doing her things.
- new words she learnt: ah ma, gai gai, cat.
- likes to disturb anyone who are asleep but will always act like she's not the one who disturb -.-
- act shy in front of people who she's unfamiliar with.. but familiar already, will show you her extreme cheeky side!!
- she will always take our stuffs and anyhow throw to other places. when we cannot find, we'll ask her where it is.. and she's able to understand and bring us to find that missing item.
- when we are going out, she will take my flats from the kitchen and pass to me.
(didn't know she's actually aware which flats i'm wearing.. haha.) - throw tantrums if things don't go her way.
- used to be very "buay xi tiam" (cannot keep still) in the car.. but hubby will always discipline little Phoebe when hubby brought her out alone. now, she knows that sit in the car got to put on safety belt and behave well =)
- when make spoil something, or do something wrong will "kay siao and hor hor" to us instead. lol!
- from my house's carpark she knows the direction of the playground even though there's a block blocking it.
- when she saw tamils/indians, she will do her "new language".
- knows how to go up and go down short stairs without holding on anything =D
18th months - 19th months:
- When she dance, she will spin and spin around.
- shy!
- knows how to call papa's name.. 强~~
- calls my maids jiejie..
- remove her shoes on her own when she reached home.
- knows how to eat on her own but always ends up in a total mess!
- outside, doesn't likes to hold people's hand.. will only want to walk on her own.
- knows how to jump but not so balance yet.
- very very "ai mei" and "hiao"!
- new words she learnt: byebye, ah gong, 抹 (wipe), cannot (but not very accurate at times..), 来，不要，抱抱。
- talks to herself when she sees the mirror.
- is on toilet-train.
- recognise our phone's ringtone when it rings.. will find the phone and pass to the person or let the person know his/her phone is ringing.
- recognise hus's car exhaust without looking out.
- when she shits or saw meimei's shit, she will do the "smelly" signal. haha!
- likes to drink from the cup.
- when she's full, will pull up her shirt and show us her big tummy!!
19th month - 20th month:
- When she wants to poo poo, will come over to me and do the "mmm-mmm" sound.
- spicy-lover, coffee-lover and vegetable-lover!
- new words she learnt: Baby, mai ("don't want" in hokkien), neh-neh (milk), sweet sweet, 嘴巴 (but not very accurate), eyes, apple, book, duck, 猫 (cat).
- when we say go gai gai or buy things, she will straight away go find my handbag/wallet. haha!
- doesn't likes to hold on people's hand when walking -.-
- loves to use pen and scribble everywhere
- recognises our items.. when she saw it, will purposely take and pass it to us.
- dotes on her meimei but also disturb meimei alot too!
- able to fall asleep on her own now without coaxing.
20th month - 21st month:
- Able to eat her lunch on her own.
- loves watching Teletubbies ALOT!
- if she's unable to reach things she wants from high areas, she will use a chair to get it.
- able to repeat most of the words we said after us.. too many to list down
- when she feels pain, will tell us pain pain in chinese.
- what we tell her to do, she will understands and do it.
eg. close door, take tissues, wear shoes, go bath etc etc. - has a very bad temper.. -.-
21st month - 22nd month:
As my precious grows older.. her updates will be lesser as she had learnt almost everything.
Except she hasn't start speaking in sentences, going to the toilet on her own, bath by herself..
No big progress going on lately. Just that she sure speak more and more now..
22nd month - 23rd month:
Like i've listed out for her past month. Phoebe learnt most of the things that she haves to already. Except for the few that i've listed out previously still no signs yet..
new achievement she did recently was..
when she wants to urine or poo poo, she will let us know also =)
and little Phoebe has already started school =D
23rd month - 24th month:
ever since my little precious started school.. she can really talks alot now... will also auto sing nursery rhymes to us. like head and shoulders, knees and toes/twinkle, twinkle little stars etc etc.she knows how to remove her clothes by her own now..
and she is diaper free during the daytime.
will auto go to the toilet when she wants to urine or even poo.
